Mod author (VaultFalcone) said anyone is free to improve the mod, and I hope this still fits under that permission!

Flirty Commonwealth is... that. My man, just read the mod description, I'm not repeating it. Nice mod, but I noticed it followed some bad practices in modding (voice lines are not packed into FUZ, some dirty edits), and I thought I'd tidy it up a little.

What I did:
  • Voice lines (loose WAV and LIP files) are now packed into FUZ. This potentially fixes issues with unvoiced dialogues.
  • Contents are packaged into BA2. If for some reason you prefer loose files instead, you can extract it through Cathedral Assets Optimizer (don't forget to switch to FO4 profile).
  • Dirty edits removed (records that get forwarded in the ESP without any changes) using FO4Edit.
  • Lots of grammar and typo fixes. 
  • Added some gender checks. Completely useless since the mod has different versions for male and female player anyway--it's mainly for me because I tested all four plugins at once and didn't want Nora to get called a dude.
  • Companions' idle lines have 6 hour cooldown now.

What I didn't do:
  • I didn't make it ESL, sadly (can't risk compacting formIDs and potentially screwing up something)
  • There are some lines with incorrect subtitles (not typos, but cut-off sentences and stuff). I didn't correct this, because when looking at xedit it doesn't look like an error (I just found out when hearing the actual line in-game). It's not that many though. Just ignore 'em please.
  • I also didn't edit dialogue conditions further to make it more immersive or 'fit my tastes better' or such. I don't want feature creep. (And also when I tried adding GetRandomPercent on some of the flirt lines, for some reason that makes the lines not fire at all? Editing Fallout 4 mods is still an uncharted territory for me, and I really don't want to screw up shit).


Other stuff worth mentioning:
  • With dirty edits removed, it should be more compatible with other mods now (it no longer needs a patch for Companion Thoughts Overhaul). I still recommend  placing it below any other mods that also edit dialogue quests for Diamond City, Goodneighbour, and Bunker HIll guards/settlers, because Flirty Commonwealth had to edit an existing dialogue record from each to remove the "Random end" flag, so the extra dialogue lines could play out. Not sure why MA couldn't just make a new quest, but I'm not gonna complain.
