CotR Faceparts Addon, patched for various skin mods

Charmers of the Reach is a terrific framework for making detailed characters in Skyrim, but there's not that much complexion and texture options. I made a mod that opens up more slots for more textures to be used here, and provided new textures that anyone can use. But the textures I'm using are not compatible with many skin mods, and I didn't have the time to provide patches ("patches", in quotes. In practice it means editing every single texture ho boy).

There is CotR Neck Seam Fixes, but it covers only the original face textures shipped with CotR, not my added textures. The burden still falls upon me to make compatibility patches for Faceparts Addon. So here it is.

You need to install Faceparts Addon first and then overwrite it with patches after. Also, install the aforementioned neck seam fixes mod as that mod patches the complete face components (including speculars), while mine only covers my additional textures.


FEB 2025 UPDATE: so, since I last updated this mod, there has been big CotR overhauls like BnP - CotR Overhaul and Complexions for CotR. Both mods 'conflict' with this mod in some way or another. Namely, BnP made edits to the race records and add headparts, and both it and Complexions have wildly different art style than my textures (theirs are very very detailed and realistic, mine are less so, strictly based on CotR's default textures with minimal painted-on shading). 

And I'll be honest with you--you're probably better off using one or the other, especially if you just want to plug and play, don't want to patch stuff, or don't want a collection of wildly different face textures in your game.


For version 2.0 only (only Khisartin's ALT textures and swefrida's Bits and Pieces for now; on the verge of burning out, will cover other skin mods later)

addendum: If there's a skin mod you want to see patched, contact me here or on Nexus and maybe I'll do it. However, keep in mind if it's something Loverslab-exclusive you'll have to provide me the textures for reference (diffuse and normal map for face only), because I don't have a LL account and I won't bother making one just for making a patch. If you're worried about permissions, I can probably send over the files on Discord or something. It'll just be for your own personal use.
