1. It took me multiple playthroughs before I realized the Heart of Dibella quest even existed. The reason being my dragonborn is too fucking stealthy, and knows invisibility, whenever he went to steal the statue of Dibella he never gets caught (edit: this is because.... I am a very anxious individual and sneaking in video games makes me anxious, I accidentally ended up being too good at it--I'd quick save all the way and reload a previous save whenever I get caught). The first time I did the quest, I purposefully broke stealth and talked to the priestess to get it.
2. I've only ever done Boethiah's quest once, didn't remember who I sacrificed. It boggles my mind how other players would sacrifice hirelings for that quest too. Why spend 500 septims just to do a quest?
3. Fucking. hate. small flying enemies, especially when playing as a melee character. And those ice wraiths, skeevers, and wolves that always push my characters around when I just want to land a single hit. Fuck. Them.
4. Skyrim is really not made for too many followers. Four is my record. I have no idea why or how people play with SEVEN custom-voiced followers in a single playthrough, filling up your gameplay with so much background noise and chatter. (edit: I have to say, it IS kinda fun watching the little pixel people going ham on a single frost troll. but like i said, unfortunately Skyrim is just not made for it.)
5. I don't get the fandom obsession with the Thalmor. I'm sure they're very interesting and ESO fleshes them out further. Still don't get it tho. (edit: and then I played Inquisition and met the Venatori and was like, "goddammit, another one?" what's this with generic enemy mooks in video games being... some fantasy race supremacists?)
6. Concentration spells my BELOATHED. Hello, mod authors, please do not kit your modded followers or enemies with concentration spells. They're a pain to deal with. (edit: oh yeah! and a draugr who summons a big-ass frost atronach in a cramped hallway? hate those.)
7. I have a small headcanon that Wuunferth the Unliving used to be a mentor at the Arcane University in Cyrodiil, NOT the College of Winterhold. It would--I think--explain his aversion to necromancy. What I think is that the writers forgot their lore, or they confused the two institiutions together.
